Welcome to Musso’s Restaurant, a Pueblo tradition where classic diner charm meets bold Pueblo flavor and genuine family hospitality. Musso’s is a welcoming stop for locals, travelers, and generations of Green Chile lovers who come for comfort food and stay for the community spirit.
Our Story
Musso’s began with a simple dream and a family recipe. In 1991, Carl Musso, inspired by the Sicilian sausage traditions of his ancestors, opened the restaurant with one goal: to share great food and warm hospitality with his community. Rooted in five generations of farming in Pueblo, the Musso family’s tradition of growing produce and roasting Pueblo green chiles became the heart and soul of Musso’s menu.
Today the restaurant is owned and operated by Lisa Musso-Marino, continuing Carl’s legacy of down-to-earth service and hearty, handcrafted dishes. Whether you’re a lifelong customer or a first-time visitor, you’ll find the same welcoming atmosphere that has made Musso’s a beloved local gem for over 30 years.
Our Philosophy
At Musso’s, food is more than fuel; it’s connection. We believe in honest, flavorful cooking made with ingredients we’re proud of, including produce and chiles from our own family farm. But what truly sets us apart is how we treat people:
“Enter a stranger and leave as a friend.”
That sentiment has guided every meal, every conversation, and every return visit for years.
Recognition & Community
Musso’s story isn’t just local, it’s getting noticed. The restaurant was recently selected to be featured on America’s Best Restaurants, highlighting our unique dishes, family heritage, and place in Pueblo’s culinary landscape. Whether you’re stopping in for your morning coffee, piling on a green chili-smothered favorite, or sharing a table with friends and family, Musso’s offers food that’s full-flavored and a welcome that feels like home.
